Life-Skills Empowerment Group
LEG is a nonprofit 501(c)3 founded in 2019 to fill a specific need for American teenagers, and provide them with a chance to learn basic life-skills in a formal context.
To empower the students we reach with confidence in their abilities to cope, and contribute to the households and communities in which they live.
We see a world where students and adolescents grow up with a foundation in critical life and healthy wellness skills. LEG alumni are better prepared to become responsible adults.
Founder and CEO of LEG, Shawn is a business owner, certified CPR instructor and Non Violent Crisis Intervention instructor who worked with animals, including as a care giver with the Gorilla Foundation, before tending to the needs of teenagers.
